With its 2-in-1 function this Arca-Swiss compatible camera quick release plate magically transforms into a smartphone clamp with a few quick and simple flips and twists. Made from aluminium, it is lightweight, yet strong and durable as it has been anodised. The grippy rubber padding securely grips devices. The Magic-Plate contains an accessory shoe should the need to attach a microphone or extra lighting arise. Its compact design and the ability to fold flat makes it the ideal travel must-have.

The first function of this 2in1 multifunction Magic-Plate is as a universal quick release tripod plate mount for cameras. The mounting plate is suitable for DSLR cameras, mirrorless cameras and even camcorders. Folded and locked into its flat configuration, it can be used as a universal Arca-Swiss type camera quick release plate. When used as a camera plate, it slides into the tripod’s clamping channel, as any normal Arca-Swiss-type mounting plate. The sliding action of the plate allows you to perfectly balance your camera on the ball head by allowing you to make adjustments forwards or backwards to better find the centre of point of the equipment. The camera screws onto the plate via a standard ¼-inch screw interface. It has a handy flip up fastening ring so you don’t need a screwdriver for them to securely attach.

The second function of this 2in1 multifunction Magic-Plate is as a mobile phone clamp. It flips and folds until it transforms into a phone holder so mobile phones can be held in place on a tripod for stabile hands-free use. Unlike cameras, phones don’t inherently come with attachment points. This spring-loaded clamp will firmly clamp your smartphone to hold it in place. The smartphone clamp is spring tensioned and adjusts from 50 to 90mm, enabling it to securely clamp even large smartphones. Rubber padding on surfaces adds an extra level of grip to devices. On the base of the Magic-Plate there is a female ¼-inch tripod screws which further extends the number of ways and places this clamp can be mounted. It will attach to the head of your tripod, screw onto a quick release plate or screw onto a light stand with ¼” thread.

When folded upright in the smartphone clamp position, there is an accessory shoe to attach an on-camera microphone or light positioned above your smartphone. This makes the Magic-Plate a perfectly handy accessory to broadcast or Vlog yourself on YouTube and other social media platforms.

This versatile accessory is machined from aluminium alloy and anodized in K&F’s signature orange, making it light and durable. The Magic-Plate is finished with a corrosion resistant anodized orange colour, which further adds to its durability.
